April 21 means today is the last Friday of Ramadan. Today prayers of goodbye will be read in the places of worship. This time, arrangements are being made for 40,000 people to offer Namaz at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, earlier arrangements used to be made for 25 to 30 thousand people to offer Namaz. Eid will be celebrated in the entire country including Bihar on April 22, it will be announced only after sighting of the moon on Friday or not. It is being said that the moon was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Thursday itself. Eid will be celebrated there on Friday. That’s why there is every possibility that Eid will be celebrated in Bihar also on 22nd April. At the same time, the timings of Eid prayers have been announced by the mosque committees. Eid prayers will be offered at 7:30 pm at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
Here, an alert has been issued in entire Bihar regarding Eid. The police headquarters has ordered the SPs of all the districts to maintain tight security arrangements. On the other hand, 298 magistrates and 4,000 jawans have been deployed at major places in Patna regarding Eid. Rape companies have been deployed in the security system. Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra has issued instructions to beef up the security arrangements regarding Eid prayers at Gandhi Maidan.
Special team to monitor social media
Patna SSP said that the security regarding Eid prayers is fully chalked out. Peace committee meetings have been held by all the police stations. People who are already accused of disturbing communal harmony. Strict action is being taken against them and monitoring of many people is also being done. And a special team of Patna Police is constantly keeping an eye on social media. Various platforms of social media are being monitored by the Police Headquarters. 50 magistrates, 100 police officers and 500 police force have been deployed at Gandhi Maidan. There is an appeal to the people to maintain peace in any situation, do not pay attention to any kind of rumour, if someone tries to disturb the law and order, strict action will be taken against him.
